In Which Creative Writing is Discussed

As some of you know, I am taking AP Language and Composition this year, which is essentially just reading stories and analyzing them/commenting on various styles of language. Needless to say, it is enjoyable, that is, minus the dumb people. (Un)Fortunately, it is one of the easiest AP classes, so there are a lot of dumb people in the class who say dumb things just to get some AP credit.  

But on the ever-so-faint bright side, I will get to do a lot of writing and whatnot, so I will be posting various essays and snippets on here for feedback and whatnot. The teacher made it very clear to us that this was NOT a fiction writing class and a lot of people took this to mean that it was not a creative writing class, but this is not true, because ALL writing is creative writing. Also I believe that there is no such thing as TRUE fiction, but this is another rant for another day.

I am in one of those moods where I really like people. It won't last long, but it's there.

Oh! Banned Book Week is coming up, I plan to read Lolita, because I haven't yet. But we still have another week, so I should be able to fit in another book between then and now.
